Senior Pastor Oshebar L. Hardman has a passion for helping others see the best within themselves. Growing up with both parents in ministry, he has been involved in church since he could remember. Ministry was a major influence during his formative years. After graduating from high school, he attended the University of South Carolina where he received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue an engineering career. It was during this season where God began to deal with him significantly leading him to his purpose. He truly accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and became heavily involved in ministry.
While active in ministry at Elizabeth Baptist Church, he met and married his lovely wife Ebonie after only knowing each other for two months. He continued to follow God’s will for his life and accepted the call to preach the gospel in 2004. He was licensed and ordained under his father, the late Bishop Oscar Hardman, in 2007. Following a vision given by God he founded the Heart Church in Smyrna, GA, where he pastored for 6 years cultivating his passion of shaping lives, helping the community, and building the Kingdom. From there he transitioned to become Senior Pastor of Second Mount Vernon Baptist Church in 2013 and pastored for 9 years. On October 31, 2022, Pastor Oshebar Hardman became Senior Pastor of Light of the World Christian Tabernacle International. He continues to exemplify the attributes of service, dedication, and leadership with a heart for the people. Pastor Hardman also serves as the Director of Outreach for the AND Campaign. A civic organization that promotes biblical fidelity and civic engagement within the public square.
